“I hope to tell stories that will stay with you, long after you leave the theatre, cinema or finish the pages of my book”

My Story

I am a storyteller who believes in sparking conversations that the West may overlook, embraced by awareness, inclusivity, and a celebration of diverse representations; veiled by privilege, unconscious bias, or weariness of stereotypical representations. My art is a testament to the power of breaking free from the constraints that confine South-Asian narratives on stages & screen. In these mosaic of narratives, I aim not only to break stereotypes but also to reclaim our collective South-Asian narrative, revealing the richness of stories waiting to be told. I aim to continue to be an advocate for representation on stage and screen for marginalised communities and a champion for those affected by Epilepsy. My passion for storytelling is fueled by the hope that these narratives will leave a lasting impact, transcending the confines of the theatre and resonating in the hearts of audiences. I look forward to continuing this journey of exploration, connection, and the relentless pursuit of stories that defy borders. It has made me reflect upon the profound tapestry of my experiences that have shaped not only my art but also the resilient spirit within me.
